Oct 14th, 2007 by buster
One Wednesday morning mom (Amy) wakes me up early and says “Were going on a trip” and that was the beginning of our adventure.
At the subway station we ran into a fight between two men who were about to get on the subway; and a security guard helped us through. Then we went to meet a friend at the Olympics. When we got there mom let me take some pictures, (see at the bottom of the page) so after that we sat back, relaxed and enjoyed the OLYMPIC JUMP l OLYMPIC JUMP ll OlympicsRUSSIAN CARTWHEEL. THE LANDING Before long it was the AWARDS CEREMONY and the guards must’ve mistaken us for being family members of the athletes, it was glorious until,……. we were talking to a U.S.A athlete when she said she hopes she’ll win GOLD for her father who had recently died. (in case you wanted too know she got a GOLD two SILVER and a BRONZE )Mrs.Smith and U.S.A. gymnastAs we made our way out we were able to get onto the court which the athletes had played on a few minutes before. Someone was interviewing Italian players for Italian TV. There was someone waiting to be interviewed with a lot of medals so we asked if we could take his picture:MEDAL MAN l MEDAL MAN ll ( I counted 2 GOLD 4 SILVER 1 BRONZE ) , . As we left we looked at the pictures just then I had the idea to share my story and thats why I’m typing on dad’s blog this Sunday.
